Could your company be part of the green value chain in the field of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS)?

Join an exclusive business trip to Hamburg October 19–22, 2026, where Danish SMEs will have the opportunity to experience the latest technologies, build international connections, and visit some of the most interesting players in the field of CO₂ emissions.

The mission is organized by the North Jutland flagship project CO2Vision and is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises from North Jutland and Southern Denmark that are involved in or wish to become part of the value chain for CO₂ capture, -utilization, and -storage.

The program includes

  • Participation in Carbon Capture Technology World Expo in Hamburg—Europe’s leading trade show and conference on CO₂ capture technologies
    • You’ll have the opportunity to meet the following Danish companies at the trade show: Coreline A/S, DESMI A/S, DynElectro ApS, HYTOR A/S, Rambøll, Redox-Flow, Unisense A/S, and xSensr Hydrogen A/S
  • Networking with international companies, technology providers, research communities, and decision-makers, including a networking dinner organized by Hamburg’s renewable energy cluster.
  • An opportunity to establish new partnerships and gain insight into the latest market and technology trends.
  • Exclusive company visits in the Hamburg area focusing on CCS and CCUS, including:

Company Visit to Colipi

The biotech company COLIPI has established its pilot and demonstration facility at TEMPOWERK in Hamburg. COLIPI is developing a personal care product called “Climate Butter,” which it produces through the fermentation of renewable carbon from organic byproducts. The visit provides insight into the company’s work on scaling the technology from laboratory to pilot scale, as well as how industrial CO₂ sources can be converted into new, commercial value chains through CO₂ capture and utilization.

Company Visit to Planeteers

Visit the Helix demonstration facility at the AZV Südholstein wastewater treatment plant in Hetlingen, where the German climate tech company Planeteers is demonstrating a new technology that removes CO₂ directly at the sources of emissions and within the ocean’s natural carbon cycle. The visit provides insight into the pilot plant’s operations, its potential for scaling up, and the use of geochemical mineralization as an alternative or supplement to conventional CO₂ capture and storage.
