New Innovation Project on Quality-Assured Data for Captured CO2 in North Jutland
The CO2QMON innovation project focuses on monitoring, quality assurance, management, and reporting of CO2 capture for a shared infrastructure.
The purpose of the project is to define and develop a system for monitoring, quality assurance, control, and reporting of CO2 produced for a shared pipeline infrastructure. The methodology is illustrated using CO2 gas produced at a carbon capture facility, with a particular focus on quantity and quality. The goal is to propose a concrete solution to the above that can serve as a de facto standard and that will be demonstrated and documented throughout the project.
The project partners are Force Technology, Olicem, Aalborg Portland, and Thisted Combined Heat and Power Plant.
