Thursday, June 4 invites CO2Vision to the conference From Vision to Reality, where we present the insights and results we’ve gained during the initial phases of CO2Vision.
At a wide range of test and demonstration sites throughout North Jutland, work has been conducted on, among other things, CO₂ capture, Power-to-X, pyrolysis technology, the utilization of excess heat, and fuel cell solutions. At the same time, new initiatives are in the works, further strengthening the region’s position as a development and testing environment for CCUS technologies.
A new business venture requires new skills. That is why analyses have focused on the skills needs of the future, and a number of training and skills development programs have been developed and implemented. The goal is clear: to ensure that North Jutland businesses and employees are equipped to play a central role in the emerging CCUS industry.
Northern Jutland is now on the cusp of the next phase. The feasibility of establishing a CO₂ pipeline from Aalborg to Gassum is being explored, and Aalborg Portland has submitted a proposal to the Danish CCS fund with the goal of establishing one of Europe’s largest industrial CO₂ capture facilities—and thus the first fully integrated onshore CCS value chain in Denmark.
You should attend because you’ll learn about:
- CCUS solutions that are already being tested and used by companies in Northern Jutland
- CCUS Technologies Ready for Scaling
- New Models of Collaboration
- Skill Needs and Market Trends
The conference is aimed at companies and decision-makers in the following fields:
- Energy and Utilities
- Industry and Manufacturing
- Logistics and Transportation
- technological development and green innovation
- larger energy-consuming companies
In short: stakeholders who want to be well-positioned for the next phase of the green transition—and who want to help continue turning visions into concrete actions and results.
