With Vækstteam Nordjylland's recommendations behind it, a strong North Jutland consortium is working to ensure that CO2 capture, storage and use should be a beacon project across North Jutland.
In the spring of 2021, seven regional growth teams submitted their recommendations on how the government can best invest in local business forces, which can develop into business beacons.
Väkstteam Nordjylland has looked at CO2 capture, storage and use, and now the public-private partnership Green Hub Denmark has put itself at the head of the North Jutland lighthouse and has formed a consortium together with Erhvervshus Nordjylland, Business Region North Denmark, Aalborg University, Aalborg Portland, Energy Cluster Denmark and Arbejdsmarkedkontor Midt-Nord.
The first step on the way is for the consortium to send an application to Denmark's Business Promotion Board to get a share of the DKK 595 million. kroner, which is nationally earmarked for the lighthouse projects.
