About UCN University of Applied Sciences
UCN University of Applied Sciences is one of Denmark’s six universities of applied sciences, which develop and offer practice-oriented higher education, continuing education, and research. UCN is based in North Jutland and is one of the region’s largest higher education institutions, with facilities in Aalborg, Hjørring, and Thisted. Its programs include short- and medium-term higher education programs in education, business, health, and technology.
In CO2Vision, UCN University of Applied Sciences helps identify companies’ knowledge and skills needs by offering internships and project-based programs to companies, which are matched with relevant energy and environmental programs at the school. The programs included in these tracks are automation technician, energy technician, electrical installer, HVAC installer, and energy management. In addition, UCN participates in a collaborative initiative to develop course and workshop programs, which include desk research (in collaboration with AAU) and participation in the Green Innovation Workshop (in collaboration with AAU and MARTEC).
