49.6 million is on its way to a strengthened effort by CO2Vision

The Co2Vision NeXt project will continue a number of initiatives in CO2Vision:

"Now we can put further pressure on the efforts to make North Jutland a leading region for CO2 capture, use and storage (CCUS). The support makes it possible for a wide circle of companies, municipalities, research institutions and organizations to come together to develop new knowledge and test and demonstrate the CCUS solutions of the future in North Jutland. If we are to accelerate CCUS development, it is important that we can mobilize the resources to lift the CCUS technologies out of the laboratories and into larger test and demonstration projects, so that we can learn how they work in the real world.” says Anders Brøndum Klein, project manager at CO2Vision for Green Hub Denmark.

The funds come from the Foundation for Fair Transition under the theme "A coherent Denmark with strong local business beacons."

"CO2Vision NeXt will help with the realization of the local business lighthouse in North Jutland. I am pleased that we can support the ambitious project with the green funds from the Foundation for Just Change. The majority of the funds in the project will be used for testing and demonstrating CCUS solutions on both a large and small scale, and will thereby help the transformation in North Jutland on its way and create a basis for new growth opportunities", says Peter Hansen, who is chairman of the recommendations committee in The Foundation for Just Transition.
